My mission is to provide care in a loving, healthy, nurturing and safe environment for your most precious blessing.  To help them with their emotional, physical, social, intellectual, spiritual growth and development.  Where your children will learn, play and grow while their parents are at work; I will offer a home away from home, providing children with “siblings” of all ages, to play, socialize, and learn with.  Our learning environment is not only the ABC’s and 123’s, but also the learning of values.  The learning of honesty, respect, self-reliance, potential self-discipline, and moderation, the values of being: dependable, love, sensitivity to others, kindness, friendliness and fairness are the values of giving. In this atmosphere I will provide positive learning environment with inspiring activities where children will enjoy learning at their individual pace.

I believe each experience a child is exposed to is a learning experience in itself.  I encourage children to reach their fullest potential. Children learn through hands-on experience through their involvement in age appropriate activities.

A proper approach to discipline. Since children occasionally need discipline, it is important that you and I share a similar philosophy so that your child is not too confused as where the boundaries are and what is expected on him\her. This helps develop their self-esteem, and teaches them how to handle difficult situations in the future.  I express my disapproval. I state my expectations and show your child how to make amends.  I give choices, and in an extreme situation a child may be given some time alone to think and make a better choice; they just may need a couple minutes to calm down.  I never use the word “time-out” or any others words to separate them from others or make them feel rejected.

Little Blessings Day care fosters unconditional love; this kind of love is very important because children should not grow up feeling that in order to be love and cared, they must meet numerous conditions.
